Disclosures under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions

We make the following disclosures under Article 11 (Advertising for Mail-Order Sales) of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions of Japan.

Unbowed Inc. (in formation)

Unbowed Inc. is in formation (incorporation planned for November 2026). Until its incorporation is registered, its founder is responsible for operating the Service. Upon incorporation, Unbowed Inc. will succeed to the rights and obligations relating to the Service.

Until the incorporation is registered, any contract you enter into for the Service is between you and the founder (prospective representative). We will disclose the founder's name without delay, within 48 hours of your request.

Price

Prices for each plan are shown on the pricing page (/pricing). Prices are stated in U.S. dollars (USD), exclusive of tax, and are billed in the same currency.

The features and usage limits of each plan are also shown on the pricing page.

If your billing address is in Japan, Japanese consumption tax (10%) is added to your charges. The total including tax is shown on the payment screen during checkout (Stripe Checkout).

The amount of consumption tax is as shown on the payment screen and as stated on the invoices and receipts we issue.

Charges Other Than the Price

Consumption tax (10%). Because displayed prices exclude tax, the tax is added to the displayed price if your billing address is in Japan.

You are responsible for internet connection and other communication charges.

If you pay a USD charge in Japanese yen, the amount debited in yen and any related fees are determined by the exchange rate and fees set by your card issuer. We do not set these amounts, and you are responsible for them.

Payment Method

Credit card (processed by Stripe).

Payment Timing

The fee for the first billing period is charged when you apply. Each later fee is charged at the start of the billing period it covers.

When the Service Is Provided

You can use the Service immediately after payment is completed.

Term, Automatic Renewal, and Cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically for successive monthly or annual billing periods. Unless you cancel, your plan renews on the same terms at the end of each billing period, and the fee for the next period is charged.

To cancel, open Settings (設定) > Cancel plan (プランの解約) in the Geo Index dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period in which you cancel, and you can use the paid plan's features until the last day of that period. After that period ends, your account moves to the Free plan.

If you cancel before the end of a billing period, no charges are made from the next renewal date onward. Fees already paid for a billing period are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. There is no minimum term.

Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

Because Geo Index is a digital service, we do not accept refunds or cancellations once payment is completed, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

To withdraw an application or terminate a contract, follow the cancellation procedure described under “Term, Automatic Renewal, and Cancellation.”

We recommend the latest version of a major browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox).
